Brew info:
- Style: Chocolate Stout/Milk Stout
- Brewery: Samuel Smith Old Brewery (Tadcaster)
- Ingredients: Roasted organic chocolate malt and real organic cocoa
- ABV: 5.0%
- Pour: The color is a dark and murky black/brown - almost ink black with a thick and frothy mocha head that leaves big, bubbly lacing.
- Nose: Huge aromas of bitter-sweet dark chocolate, milk chocolate, cocoa, and toffee.
- Taste: Very sweet and dry massive roasted chocolate with more subtle notes of sweetened coffee, caramel, and toffee... maybe a touch of marshmallow too.
- Body: Thick and chewy, but very drinkable and very smooth!
- Finish: Sweet and dry with lingering dark chocolate notes
- Overall: Excellent chocolate stout that goes great with the sludgy heaviness and dark imagery of the brilliant "Melana Chasmata"!!
