Good afternoon!  The Meister here pairing Motörhead's "Another Perfect Day" (2006 Deluxe Edition) with a DayTime Ale from Lagunitas Brewing Company!

• Pour: It pours a clear, golden-straw hue with a thin, but fluffy white head.
• Nose:  The nose is characterized by crisp, grassy, citrusy, and crackery aromas... a really nice blend of floral and citrus hops.  There are notes of pink grapefruit, orange, light biscuit, and summer grass.
• Taste: As with the nose, the flavor of the DayTime Ale is citrusy and floral with mellow malt notes.  There are flavors of lemon, orange, grapefruit, light caramel, light grains/biscuit, and floral hops.
• Mouthfeel: Well-carbonated and light-bodied, the DayTime Ale is crisp, refreshing, and slightly bitter, with a clean and somewhat dry finish.

Overall pairing: "Another Perfect Day" is a (dare I say) more mellow album than previous works, yet still rockin'!  The sessionable, yet flavorful characteristics of the DayTime Ale make for a great companion brew to the hard-rockin' grooves of Lemmy and the boys!
