Brew Info:
  • Brewery: Uinta Brewing Company (Salt Lake City, Utah)
  • Website:
  • Brew: Wylde Extra Pale Ale
  • Style: American Pale Ale
  • Serving: 12 ounce can
  • ABV: 4.0%
  • Pour: It pours a hazy golden orange with a thin, white head that dissipates quickly leaving only trace lacing.
  • Nose: The nose is citrusy, grassy, piney, and sweet.  There are aromas of grapefruit rind and juice, lemon zest, summer grass, soft caramel, and cedar.
  • Taste: The flavor follows the aromas; grassy and spicy hops abound.   These grassy and hoppy flavors mingle with sweet caramel and biscuit.
  • Mouthfeel: Incredibly crisp and refreshing, the mouthfeel is initially sharp, but smooths to an almost creamy finish.  It is rather dry and finishes clean.
Overall pairing: The sharp notes and wonderful drinkability of the Wylde Extra Pale Ale makes for a great pairing with the progressive/power metal onslaught that is ReVamp's wonderful "Wild Card"!!  'Nuff said!

Proost... Gezondheid!!
