  • Brew: Rustler India Pale Ale
  • Style: American India Pale Ale (IPA)

  • ABV: 6.2%
  • Ingredients: 2-Row, Crystal, Honey Malt, and Munich malts and Centennial, Chinook, and Columbus hops
  • Pour: The Rustler pours a hazy copper-amber with a thin, bright white head that leaves a nice ring and soapy lacing.
  • Nose: The nose is floral, citrusy, earthy, dank, and slightly sweet.  There are aromas of bitter herbs, floral hops, grapefruit rind, tangerine, apricot, sweet pine resin, and caramel.
  • Taste: The taste of the Rustler is fruity, citrusy, malty, and very hoppy.  There are notes of sweet bready malt, grapefruit, orange, tangerine, pine, and spicy herbs.
  • Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied with moderate carbonation, the mouthfeel is crisp and smooth with a dry and slightly bitter finish.
Overall pairing: The very drinkable citrusy, piney, and sweet malt notes and aromas of the Payette Brewing Company Rustler India Pale Ale is great for Willie's unique and deeply honest style of country music!  Both the beer and Willie are truly Americana!

Cheers!!
