  • Pour: The 4 Hop IPA pours a hazy, bright orange with a frothy 1+ finger, white head with good retention and lots of sticky and soapy lacing.
  • Nose: The nose is very earthy and aromatic with lots of pine and citrus.  There are aromas of pine resin, grapefruit rind, tangerine, lemon zest, and bitter herbs, along with sweeter caramel.
  • Taste: The taste follows the nose with lots of dank and citrusy flavors.  There are notes of pine, pink grapefruit juice, tangerine, orange peel, black tea, and a strong malty backbone.
  • Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied with moderate carbonation, the mouthfeel of the 4 Hop IPA is very crisp with a dry and bitter finish.
Overall pairing: The punchy citrus and pine flavors of the Rogue Farms 4 Hop IPA is a great companion with the straightforward rockin' approach of STP's "No. 4"!  The sweeter malt and citrusy flavors compliment Weiland's vocals while the more bitter hop notes are great for the crunchy guitars, pounding bass, and thunderous drums!

Cheers!!
