Good afternoon and happy post-bloated belly-Thanksgiving Friday!  The Meista here today pairing a Nemesis Pale Ale from my friends at 2 Row Brewing and "Nemesis" by hard rocking Axe!

  • Pour: The Nemesis Pale Ale pours a clear straw gold with a bright white head with lacing.
  • Nose: The nose is juicy (lots of citrus and tropical fruit), earthy, dank, and sweet.  There are aromas of grapefruit juice and rind, tangerine, orange juice, mango, guava, pineapple, melon, pine resin, honey, and doughy bread.
  • Taste: The taste of the Nemesis Pale Ale follows the nose with lots of citrus, tropical fruit, bitter herbs, dank pine, and sweetness.  There are notes of tangerine, orange juice, ruby red grapefruit, mango, pineapple, melon, caramel, pale malt, herbal tea, and sourdough bread.
  • Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied with moderate carbonation, the mouthfeel is crisp, dry, and peppery with a very clean, slightly dry finish.
Overall pairing: The inviting juicy flavors and aromas of 2 Row Brewing's delicious and very crushable Nemesis Pale Ale is simply perfect for the hard-rockin' punch of Axe's "Nemesis"!  'Nuff said!
