  • Pour: The Rosetta pours an opaque mahogany-brown/red with a light tan, frothy 2-finger head that dissipates to a sustained ring with sudsy lacing.
  • Nose: The nose is tart, fruity, and slightly funky.  There are aromas of cherry jam, black cherry juice, lemon juice, cranberry juice, apple cider vinegar, apricot, light grain, and wet leather.
  • Taste: The taste of the Rosetta is fruity, tart, and sweet.  There are notes of cherry juice, cranberry juice, lemon juice, light grains, and a touch of honey.
  • Mouthfeel: Light-bodied and well carbonated, the mouthfeel of the Rosetta is mildly tart, froth, sharp, and very crisp with a dry and sour finish.
Overall pairing: The Rosetta from Brewery Ommegang is a complex, sweet, and tart brew in the Flemish/Belgian tradition... perfect for the artistic beauty, depth, and might that is Vuur's "In This Moment We Are Free - Cities"!
