• Pour: The Moondog pours a deep, slightly hazy mahogany with a 1+ finger, creamy, light beige head with great sustain and lots of sticky, intricate lacing.
• Nose: The nose is toasty, bready, sweet, and malty.  There are aromas of hearty baked bread, sweet caramel, honey, nuts, a hint of dark fruit, and a hint of black tea.
• Taste: The taste of the Moondog follows the nose with lots of bready, malty, sweet, and herbal flavors.  There are notes of hearty multi grain bread, almonds, walnuts, maple syrup, honey, burnt toffee, a hint of raisin and cherry, and herbal tea.
• Mouthfeel: Medium in body with moderate carbonation, the Moondog's mouthfeel is very smooth, crisp, with a dry, slightly bitter finish.

Overall pairing: The Woodland Empire Moondog Amber Ale is a hearty, sweet, and very drinkable brew... the perfect brew to through back whilst rocking out to the !
