  • Style: India Pale Ale (IPA)
  • Serving: 12 ounce can
  • ABV: 7.5%

  • Pour: The Flesh & Blood pours a fairly clear deep copper-amber with a frothy, 2-finger off-white head with great retention and lots of sticky, sudsy lacing throughout.
  • Nose: The nose is citrusy, tropical, earthy, dank, and herbal.  There are aromas of grapefruit rind, orange, tangerine, lemon, mango, herbal tea, minerals, light pine resin, and fresh herbs.
  • Taste: The taste of the Flesh & Blood is citrusy, zesty, and slightly tart.  There are notes of grapefruit juice and rind, orange zest and pith, black tea, lemon, a hint of pine.
  • Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied with moderate carbonation, the mouthfeel of the Flesh & Blood is juicy, smooth, and slightly tart with a dry finish.
Overall pairing: The Blood & Flesh IPA is a hop-forward, punchy, aggressive brew that is totally crushable... perfect for the metal onslaught that is Exciter's kickass "Violence & Force"!  I can't think of anything better than a crisp and citrusy IPA (or 3) to throw back whilst pumping your fist and banging your head to these bad asses!  'Nuff said!

Cheers and hails!!
