Hello and happy Friday evildoers and craft beer lovers!  The Meista here welcoming the weekend with a pairing of the amazing "Astral Necromancy" by Seattle black metal band Hoth and a delicious Aqua Dementia from TRVE Brewing Company, "Denver's true heavy metal brewery"!  This pairing goes out to my friends Jason and Sonia!  Thanks for the great beers guys!!  Cheers!!

• Pour: The Aqua Dementia pours a very hazy, bright golden-yellow with frothy, bright white head that dissipates fairly quickly, leaving only a thin ring with virtually no lacing.
• Nose: The nose is fruity, citrusy, herbal, and funky.  There are aromas of grapefuit rind, lime, pear, sage, light rosemary, dried apricot, Brett, wet horse blanket, and leather.
• Taste: The taste of the Aqua Dementia is tangy, fruity, citrusy, grainy, and funky.  There are notes of pear juice, lime juice, dried apricot, chardonnay, light cereal grain, and barnyard funk. 
• Mouthfeel: Light to medium in body and well carbonated, the mouthfeel is crisp, frothy, and tangy with a semi-dry finish.

Overall pairing: The Aqua Dementia from TRVE Brewing is a bright, complex, flavorful, and very funky brew, which makes for a great pairing to the chaotic and aggressive intricacies of the brilliant"Astral Necromancy"!  'Nuff said!
