March 20th, 2020 - The Voodoo Ranger's Science Of Annihilation And American Haze



Happy Friday and hails evil-doers!  Your drinkin' buddy the Meista here bringing the weekend in the right way by rocking the hell out to a pairing of some truly American : the classic "Science Of Annihilation - Re-Annihilated" by Cage and a Voodoo Ranger American Haze Hazy Session IPA from New Belgium Brewing Company!  Hells yeah!!

  • Pour: The Voodoo Ranger American Haze pours a very hazy golden-orange amber with a bright white, 1+finger head that dissipates to a thin cap with sticky, soapy lacing.
  • Nose: The nose is citrusy, fruity, and slightly malty.  There are aromas of orange, tangerine, grapefruit, passion fruit, mango, and a touch of caramel.
  • Taste: The taste of the Voodoo Ranger American Haze follows the nose with lots of juicy, citrusy, fruity flavors.  There are notes of orange juice and zest, orange soda, grapefruit juice, tangerine, mango, guava, cereal grain, and light honey.
  • Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied with moderate carbonation, the mouthfeel is very crisp, juicy, and refreshing with a clean, dry finish.

Overall pairing: The citrusy aromas and flavors and the overall crushability of  the Voodoo Ranger American Haze make for an excellent pairing with Cage's killer metal onslaught, "Science Of Annihilation - Re-Annihilated"!  'Nuff said!
