Hello and happy Friday!  Your drinking buddy the Meista here today getting the weekend off right with a pairing of "High Voltage", AC/DC's first internationally released studio album (44 years old this month!) and a tasty Easy Jack from Firestone Walker Brewing Company!  Hell yes!!

  • Taste: The taste is citrusy, hoppy, earthy, and malty.  There are notes of grapefruit, pineapple, bitter herbs, pine, pepper, light grains, minerals, and a hint of caramel (especially as it warms).
  • Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied with moderate carbonation, the mouthfeel of the Easy Jack is crisp, smooth, and refreshing with a dry, slightly bitter finish.

Overall pairing: 
The easy drinking and very crushable hoppy and fruity flavors of the Easy Jack are perfect for the melodic grooves and harmonies of AC/DC's "High Voltage"!  'Nuff said!
