  • Brew: Feelin' Irie Hazy Double IPA
  • Style: Double India Pale Ale (DIPA) / Imperial IPA (IIPA)
  • Serving: 25.4 ounce crowler can
  • ABV: 8.0%
  • Ingredients: El Dorado and Cashmere hops
  • Pour: The Feelin' Irie Hazy Double IPA pours a very hazy and murky golden-orange amber with a frothy, eggshell white, 1+ finger head with great retention and lots of sticky, spider web lacing.
  • Nose: The nose is very citrusy, very tropical, floral, and herbal.  There are aromas of orange juice, orange peel, grapefruit rind, pineapple, mango, wild flowers, light pine resin, herbal tea, crackery biscuit, and sweet caramel.
  • Taste: Like the nose, the taste of the Feelin' Irie Hazy Double IPA is citrusy, tropical, malty, and herbal.  Bright and hop-forward, there are notes of orange juice, tangerine, pink grapefruit juice, mango, pineapple, orange tea, a hint of pine, and sweet toffee/caramel.
  • Mouthfeel: Medium to full-bodied with moderate carbonation, the mouthfeel is very crisp, juicy, and smooth, yet somewhat thick and sticky with a dry, slightly sweet finish.

Overall pairing: The hop-forward, punchy, complex flavors and aromas of the so very good Talisman Feelin' Irie are prefect for the in-your-face, angry, and fiery fury of Megadeth's kick-ass "So Far, So Good... So What"!!  'Nuff said!

Cheers and hails!!
