  • Pour: The Grid City India Pale Ale pours a bronze amber with an eggshell white, 1-finger, creamy head with good retention and sudsy lacing.
  • Nose: The nose is very aromatic... citrusy, fruity, slightly dank, herbal, and floral.  There are aromas of grapefruit rind, pineapple, a hint of mango, a hint of apricot, biscuit, light pine resin, and wild flowers with soft caramel.
  • Taste: The taste of the Grid City India Pale Ale follows the nose with lots of punchy, citrusy, herbal, and tropical flavors.  There are notes of grapefruit rind, tangerine, grassy hops, light pine, pineapple, soft mango, crackery biscuit, a little black tea, and a touch of caramel/toffee.  This is a wonderfully brewed, classic IPA... no bullshit fruit flavor or lactose additives... just pure deliciousness!
  • Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied and moderately-carbonated, the mouthfeel is very crisp, with a very dry, slightly bitter, yet clean finish.

Overall pairing: Those straightforward, punchy, hoppy, crushable flavors of the Grid City India Pale Ale pair perfectly with the fast-paced, aggressive, thrashingly good metal prowess of early Megadeth!  So very good together!  And if you live in or find yourself in Salt Lake City, definitely go check out the Grid City tap room... great beers, delicious food, great atmosphere, and super friendly and knowledgeable staff!  Tell 'em the Meista sent ya!   'Nuff said!

Cheers and hails!!
