August 30th, 2020 - A Sweet Ìgèret Of Plumango



 

Jó estét rockers and craft brew lovers!  The Meista here tonight with a pairing of "Ìgèret" by Hungarian folk metal band Dalriada and a very tasty and tart Plumango Sour from Fisher Brewing Company!  Hell yeah!

      • Pour: The Fisher Plumango pours a very murky, deep violet hue with a frothy and firm, 2+ finger, bright white head with great retention and soapy lacing.
      • Nose: The nose is fruity, tart, and sweet.  There are aromas of fresh mango, fresh plum, berries, lemon juice, red wine, light grains, and a hint of honey.
      • Taste: The taste of the Fisher Plumango follows the nose with big, bright notes of tart plum and sweet mango along with lemon juice, tart grape, lemon zest, sourdough bread, and a hint of honey.
      • Mouthfeel: Light to medium-bodied and well carbonated, the mouthfeel is very crisp, tart, and very refreshing with a dry, slightly sour finish.

      Overall pairing: The Fisher Plumango Sour is very crushable, yet a very punchy, tart, complex, and flavorful brew ... a perfect brew to accompany the wonderful folk harmonies and melodies of Dalriada on their "Ìgèret" album!  'Nuff said!
