 Brew Info:
  • Brewery: Wasatch Brewing (Park City, Utah)
  • Website: https://wasatchbeers.com/
  • Brew: Ghost Rider IPA
  • Style: American India Pale Ale (IPA)
  • Serving: 12 ounce can
  • ABV: 6.0%
  • IBUs: 45
  • Ingredients: Simcoe and Cascade hops, Premium Pale and Munich malts, and coriander
  • Pour: The Ghost Rider IPA pours a slightly hazy golden yellow with a bright white, 1-finger head with good retention and sticky, soapy lacing.
  • Nose: The nose is dank, citrusy, herbal, malty, and slightly sweet. There are aromas of lemon zest, lemon drops, grapefruit rind, black tea, herbal orange tea, coriander, pine resin, cedar, and toffee.
  • Taste: Hop-forward, the taste of the Ghost Rider is citrusy, herbal, spicy, and malty.  Like the nose, there are notes of lemon zest, tangerine, black and orange tea, pine, fresh herbs, soft caramel, coriander, and white pepper.
  • Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied and moderately carbonated, the mouthfeel is very crisp and juicy with a dry, spicy finish.

Overall pairing: The hoppy, spicy, complex, yet very crushable flavors of the Ghost Rider IPA go great with the face-melting intensity, aggression, and brutality of Incantation's killer "Vanquish In Vengeance"!  Those dank citrusy notes really bring out the bitterness of the lyrics and vocals while malty backbone goes great with the power of the music!  'Nuff said!

HAILS!!
