- Pour: The Hometown Hazy pours a very hazy, pale, straw yellow hue with a frothy and firm, stark white 2+ finger head with great retention and lots of intricate, sticky, soapy lacing.
- Nose: The nose is citrusy, fruity, grainy, floral, and slightly sweet. There are aromas of lemon zest, orange peel, grapefruit rind, tangerine, stone fruit (peach and apricot), melon, light mango, a hint of pineapple, pine resin, wild flowers, light grains, and soft caramel.
- Taste: The taste of the Hometown Hazy follows the nose and is characterized by hoppy, citrusy, tropical, grassy, and malty flavors. There are notes of tangerine, orange pith and zest, pineapple, crackery biscuit, grassy and flowery hops, bitter herbs, and a hint of white pepper in the finish.
- Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied and well-carbonated, the mouthfeel is very crisp and juicy, yet smooth with a clean, dry, slightly peppery and bitter finish.
Overall Pairing: The very crushable citrus and fruit hop flavors along with the lighter malt notes of the UTOG/Ogden River Brewing Hometown Hazy make it a great brew to throw back whilst rocking the hell out to brilliance and passion that is "Are You Experienced"! Thus sayeth the Meista!
