        Brew Info:
    • Brewery: Fisher Brewing Company (Salt Lake City, Utah)
    • Website:  http://www.fisherbeer.com/
    • Brew: The Monkey Wrench Gang: The Gang (1 of 6)
    • Style: West Coast Pale Ale
    • Serving: 32 ounce crowler can
    • ABV: 5.0%
    • Ingredients: Citra and Mosaic hops
    • Pour: The Gang pours a very hazy golden caramel-amber with frothy and billowy, 2-finger bright white head with great retention and lots of sticky, soapy, intricate lacing.
    • Nose: The nose is citrusy, floral, herbal, spicy, and malty.  There are aromas of bready malts, grapefruit rind, orange zest, wild onion, wild flowers, herbal tea, a hint of pine resin, crackery grains, and soft caramel.
    • Taste: The taste of The Gang follows the nose with big notes of pink grapefruit juice, pine, black tea, white pepper, bitter herbs, and a hint toffee/caramel.
    • Mouthfeel: Medium to full-bodied and moderately carbonated, the mouthfeel of The Gang is very crisp and spicy, yet smooth with a dry, bitter finish.
    • Important Note from the Fisher Facebook page: "The pandemic has taken a tire iron to the torsos of small businesses everywhere. As we in Salt Lake City were being bludgeoned over the summer, Fisher Brewing hatched a plan to help out one of our state's most beloved book shops: Ken Sanders Rare Books.  The idea: Would Sanders be interested in seeing Crumb's illustrations adapted to beer labels, with a portion of proceeds from sales to be donated back to the book store?  Sanders said yes."

Overall pairing: The Gang is very crushable, yet a very punchy and flavorful brew ... a perfect beer to accompany the angry protest grooves and rhymes of Rage Against The Machine!  The beer is great for causing a little mischief in the Utah desert as well!  'Nuff said!

    Cheers and hails!!
