Hails and happy Friday evildoers and craft beer freaks!  The Meista here getting aggressive and starting the weekend off right with the killer EP "King Of All Demons" by death metal band Tribe Of Pazuzu and a deliciously punchy and hoppy Master Control Program (a nod to Tron) from the fine folks at SaltFire Brewing Company!

  • Pour: The Master Control Program pours very hazy, pale yellow with a billowy, bright white, 2-finger head with great retention and sticky, intricate lacing.
  • Nose: The nose is citrusy, fruity, grainy, and slightly sweet.  There are aromas of orange juice, orange pith, orange peel, tangerine, lemon zest, grapefruit rind, pineapple, mango, grassy hops, light pine resin, and a hint of vanilla bean.
  • Taste: The taste of the Master Control Program a potent blend of hoppy citrusy, tropical, and slightly sweet flavors.  There are notes of freshly squeezed orange juice, tangerine, pineapple, mango, crackery grains, white pepper, soft caramel, and a hint of vanilla.  
  • Mouthfeel: Medium to full-bodied with moderate carbonation, the mouthfeel is crisp, juicy, and slightly astringent with a dry, bitter finish.

Overall pairing: With its complexity and hop-forward citrusy aromas and flavors, the Master Control Program is perfect for the aggression of Tribe Of Pazuzu's killer EP "King Of All Demons"!
