Guten abend head-bangers and craft brew freaks! Your drinking buddy the Meista here tonight thrashing it out to "Under The Guillotine", the new Noise Records compilation album by German thrash monsters Kreator and a bold and sweet Imperial Schwarzbier from T.F. Brewing Company!

• Ingredients: Dark lager brewed with black cherries and red plums
• Pour: The Imperial Schwarzbier pours a deep, dark brown (almost ink black) with a frothy and creamy, light mocha, 2+ finger head with great retention and lots of sticky, intricate lacing.
• Nose: The nose is roasty, toasty, malty, sweet, and slightly tart. There are aromas of dark roasted malts, cocoa, very light coffee beans, soft caramel, fresh plums, plum jam, and sweet cherry juice.
• Taste: The taste of the follows the nose with lots of complex, roasty, toasty, fruity, and sweet flavors.  There are notes of dark toasted bread, dark chocolate covered black cherries, cocoa, light coffee, plum juice, burnt toffee, and a hint of booze.
• Mouthfeel: Medium to full-bodied with moderate carbonation, the mouthfeel of the Imperial Schwarzbier is with a dry, sweet finish. 

Overall pairing: T.F. Brewing's tasty Imperial Schwarzbier is a bold and unique brew... perfect for the Teutonic thrash metal onslaught that is early Kreator!  Like Kreator, the brew takes a traditional idea and spins it on its head!  'Nuff said!
