Good afternoon rockers, rollers, and craft beer lovers!  Happy Friday!  The Meista here today getting heavy with a pairing of the brilliant "Live All Over The Place" by King's X and a Utah Beer Blog 15 Year Anniversary Vanilla Porter from Epic Brewing Company, which was brewed in celebration of my buddy Mikey's amazing beer blog (https://utahbeer.blogspot.com/)!  I've been aging the brew for the past year and a half.  Oh yeah!!

  • Mouthfeel: Medium to full-bodied with low carbonation, the mouthfeel is with a very dry, slightly bitter, and very herbal finish.
  • Note: The Utah Beer Blog 15 Year Anniversary Vanilla Porter was released in the summer of 2021.  I aged it for over a year to allow those vanilla flavors to really take hold!

Overall pairing: The bold, complex, sweet, and roasty notes and aromas of the Utah Beer Blog 15 Year Anniversary Vanilla Porter from Epic Brewing Company is the perfect brew for the heaviness, intensity, soul, honesty, and musical prowess of King's X's brilliant and powerful "Live All Over The Place"!  I cannot get enough of this album!  You need it in your life brothers and sisters!!
