  • Pour: The Alpha Point IPA pours a very hazy, very bright golden-orange hue with a frothy, bright white, 1-finger head with good retention and lots of sudsy, sticky lacing.
  • Nose: The nose is citrusy, fruity, and floral.  There are aromas of orange juice, tangerine, peach, apricot, pineapple, mango, wildflowers, biscuit, and soft caramel/toffee.
  • Taste: Hop-forward, the taste of the Alpha Point IPA is citrusy, fruity, and malty.  There are notes of orange juice, tangerine, peach, mango, pineapple, guava, melon, and sweet caramel and biscuity malt.  
  • Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied with moderate carbonation, the mouthfeel is very crisp and very juicy, yet smooth with a dry, slightly sweet finish.

Overall pairing: The Alpha Point IPA from Revision Brewing Company is a tasty, juicy, complex, yet inviting brew... perfect for the complexities, intricacies, and beauty of  Epica!  The flavors and aromas of this tasty brew blend wonderfully well with Simone's beautiful and soaring vocal prowess, the explosive guitars, soaring keyboards, and thunderous bombast of the bass and drums, as well as the amazing choir and orchestra!
