Good evening headbangers and hopheads... and happy Friday to you!  The Meista here today starting the weekend off right with a pairing of Inhuman Condition's kick-ass debut album "Rat°God" and juicy and punchy Fresh and Juicy India Pale Ale from Silver Reef Brewing Company!  Hell yeah!!

  • Ingredients: 2-Row, Pale, and flaked oats with Bravo, Citra, Mosaic, and Ekuanot hops, and Belgian Ale yeast
  • Pour: The Fresh and Juicy IPA pours a slightly hazy golden-orange with a 1-finger, off white head with good retention and soapy lacing.
  • Nose: The nose is very citrusy, fruity, grainy, and floral.  There are aromas of light grapefruit, orange juice, mango, mountain flowers, very light pine resin, soft caramel, and crackery biscuit.
  • Taste: The taste of the Fresh and Juicy IPA follows the nose with lots of citrus, tropical fruit, crackery grain, and light herbal flavors.  There are notes of juicy pink grapefruit, orange juice, tangerine, mango, pineapple, crackers, grassy hops, lemon tea, and light pine.
  • Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied with moderate carbonation, the mouthfeel is very crisp, smooth, and juicy with a dry, clean finish.

Overall pairing: The Fresh and Juicy IPA is a very bright, very flavorful, punchy, and crushable brew that is perfect for throwing back whilst pumping your fists and wrecking your neck to the brutal death metal onslaught that is Inhuman Condition!!  'Nuff said!
