  • Brew: Voodoo Ranger Agent 77 Hazy IPA
  • Style: India Pale Ale (IPA)
  • Serving: 12 ounce can
  • ABV: 7.7%
  • IBUs: 48
  • Ingredients: Mosaic, Pahto, Strata, and Nelson Sauvin hops with Oats, Pale, and Pilsner malts
  • Pour: The Voodoo Ranger Agent 77 Hazy IPA pours a very hazy, pale yellow with a frothy, bright white, 2+ finger head with great retention and lots of sticky, intricate lacing.
  • Nose: The nose is very tropical, floral, herbal, citrusy, and malty.  There are aromas of grapefruit rind, tangerine, melon, peach, mango, orange zest, lemon zest, , pineapple, wild flowers, green hop flowers, and a hint of caramel/toffee.
  • Taste: The taste of the Voodoo Ranger Agent 77 IPA follows the nose with lots of punchy, hop-forward, citrusy and tropical fruit flavors.  There are notes of orange juice, lime, ripe melon, peach, mango, tangerine, crackery biscuit, very light pine, herbal tea, and soft caramel/toffee
  • Mouthfeel: Medium to full-bodied and moderately carbonated, the Voodoo Ranger Agent 77 IPA's mouthfeel is very crisp and very juicy with a dry and slightly bitter finish.

Overall pairing: The crisp, complex, and hop-forward, yet very drinkable flavors of New Belgian's Voodoo Ranger Agent 77 are perfect for the electrifying melodies, harmonies, and subject matter found on Blue Öyster Cult's wonderful "Agents Of Fortune" album!  The aesthetics of the album cover art and the beer label work great together too!

Cheers... and hails!!
