- Website: http://www.talismanbrewingco.com/
- Brew: King Slayer Pilsner
- Style: Czech-style lager
- Serving: 25 ounce crowler can
- ABV: 5.0%
- Pour: The King Slayer pours a clear, bright golden yellow hue with a 1+ finger, bright white, foamy head with great retention and lots of sticky, soapy lacing.
- Nose: The nose of the King Slayer is grainy, grassy, and slightly fruity. There are aromas of freshly cut hay, summer grass, wildflowers, a hint of apple, and bready biscuit.
- Taste: The taste of the King Slayer is a very German... there are delicious notes of Noble hops, light grains, crackery biscuit, and a hint of crisp apple.
- Mouthfeel: Light to medium-bodied and well-carbonated, the mouthfeel is very crisp with a dry, slightly grassy, yet very clean finish.
Overall pairing: The King Slayer Pilsner from Talisman is a tasty, crisp, and very crushable brew... a great foil for the dark and very heavy elements of Malevolent Creation's killer "The Nuclear Blast Recordings" albums! 'Nuff said!
Cheers and hails... keep it metal and keep it craft!!
