Brew Info:

  • Brewery: Fisher Brewing Company (Salt Lake City, Utah)
  • Website: http://www.fisherbeer.com/
  • Brew: Stillwater Pale Ale
  • Style: West Coast-style American Pale Ale (APA)
  • Serving: 32 ounce crowler can
  • ABV: 5.0%
  • IBUs: 40
  • Ingredients: Cashmere and El Dorado hops with Wheat malt
  • Pour: The Stillwater Pale Ale pours a hazy, golden yellow hue with a frothy, bright white, 1+ finger head with great sustain and lots of sudsy, sticky, and layered lacing.
  • Nose: The nose is characterized by fruity, citrus, floral and herbal hops, and more subtle sweeter malts.  There are aromas of fresh strawberries, light raspberry, grapefruit rind, tangerine, light melon, dried apricot, wildflowers, toasted barley, and sweet caramel.
  • Taste: The taste of the Stillwater Pale Ale follows the nose with lots of flavors along with more subtle sweet malts.  There are notes of strawberry, grapefruit, tangerine, melon, a hint of stone fruits, crackery biscuit, and soft caramel.
  • Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied with moderate carbonation, the mouthfeel is crisp, yet soft and smooth with a dry, slightly bitter finish.

Overall pairing: The Fisher Stillwater Pale Ale is very crushable and wonderfully hoppy American Pale Ale sure to get you all charged up for the pit!  And that my friends is exactly the kind of beer you want when blasting the highly intense, powerfully brutal aggression that is the mighty Cannibal Corpse!  'Nuff said!

HAILS!!
