Good evening evil-doers and craft beer freaks! Happy Friday! The Meista here today enjoying a pairing of Venom's very underrated and very kickass "Temples Of Ice" and a punchy Sweater Weather Pale Ale from my friends at Fisher Brewing Company! Hell yeah!

- Sound: Steeped in the tradition of Motorhead, NWOBHM, and a hint of English punk, the sound on "Temples Of Ice" is a wonderfully heavy, aggressive, and furious sonic attack! The crunching rhythms are foot-stomping and fist shaking fun, while the riffing is catchy, fiery, and full of piss and vinegar! And I adore the Demolition Man's vocal punch!

Brew Info:
- Brewery: Fisher Brewing Company (Salt Lake City, Utah)
- Website: http://www.fisherbeer.com/
- Brew: Sweater Weather Pale Ale
- Style: American Pale Ale (APA)
- Serving: 32 ounce crowler can
- ABV: 5.0%
- Ingredients: Idaho 7, Simcoe, and experimental hop HBC 586
- Pour: The Sweater Weather Pale Ale pours a fairly clear, bright copper-amber hue with a billowy and creamy, off-white, 1+ finger head with great sustain and lots of sudsy, sticky, and layered lacing.
- Nose: The nose is characterized by citrus, floral and herbal hops, and more subtle sweeter malts. There are aromas of toasted barley, grapefruit rind, tangerine, pine resin, wildflowers, a hint of wild onion, and sweet caramel.
- Taste: The taste of the Sweater Weather Pale Ale follows the nose with lots of citrus, earthy, and herbal flavors along with more subtle sweet malts. There are notes of grapefruit, tangerine, orange pith, black tea, pine, crackery biscuit, and soft caramel.
- Mouthfeel: Medium to full-bodied with moderate carbonation, the mouthfeel is crisp with a dry, slightly bitter finish.
Overall pairing: The hearty, herbal, and citrusy flavors and aromas work great with the aggression and intensity of "Temples Of Ice"! The fiery and soaring guitar work of Mantas and Barnes shines even brighter with the sweeter notes, while that bitter hop punch is right in line with the more guttural vocals of the Demolition Man and the underlying malt backbone is great for Abaddon's thunderous drumming!
