Brew Info:

  • Brewery: Roha Brewing Project (Salt Lake City, Utah)
  • Website: https://rohabrewing.com/
  • Brew: Crisper Drawer
  • Style: Golden Ale
  • Serving: 16 ounce can
  • ABV: 4.6%
  • Pour: The Crisper Drawer pours a fairly clear, golden yellow hue with a half finger, bright white, frothy head with that slowly dissipates to a thin ring.
  • Nose: The nose is malty, bready, earthy, and slightly sweet.  There are aromas of freshly cut hay, light hops, wildflowers, barley, toasted bread, corn, light toffee, and crackery biscuit.
  • Taste: Following the nose, the taste of the Crisper Drawer is a well-balanced blend of light earthy hops and sweet, toasty malts.  There are notes of barley, toasted bread, sweet biscuit, and soft caramel/toffee.
  • Mouthfeel: Light-bodied and well-carbonated, the mouthfeel is very crisp and smooth with a dry, clean finish with low bitterness.

Overall pairing: The easy-drinking Crisper Drawer from Roha makes for a nice foil to the aggressive and wonderfully complex music of Carcass while the crispness is perfect for the guttural vocals and darker lyrical themes!  'Nuff said!

Cheers!!  Hails!!
