      Brew Info:
      • Brewery: Brouwerij ' t IJ (Amsterdam, The Netherlands)
      • Website: https://www.brouwerijhetij.nl/
      • Brew: Zatte Triple
      • Style: Belgian Strong Ale
      • Serving: 12 ounce bottle
      • ABV: 8.0%
      • Pour: The Zatte Triple pours a slightly cloudy golden orange hue with a frothy and thin, bright white, soft and fluffy head with good retention and lacing.
      • Nose: The nose is characterized by spicy, yeasty, fruity, floral, grainy, and slightly boozy notes.  There are aromas of Belgian yeast, cloves, white pepper, pear juice, apples, orange peel, wildflowers, sourdough bread, bright grains, a hint of booze, dark honey, and soft, buttery toffee.
      • Taste: Following the nose, the taste of the Zatte Triple is spicy, fruity, spicy, and malty.  There are notes of Belgian spices, Belgian yeast, apple, orange peel, lemon zest, and clover honey.
      • Mouthfeel: Full-bodied and moderately carbonated, the mouthfeel is crisp and exceptionally smooth with a dry, slightly bitter and boozy finish.

Overall pairing: The Brouwerij ' t IJ Zatte Triple is a very complex and flavorful brew that demands your full attention... a perfect companion to the death metal onslaught that is the mighty Incantation!  Those big, bold, and malty and sweeter fruit notes go great with the doomier elements of the album, while the slight bitterness and boozy bite go great with the more aggressive, chaotic, and infernal dimensions!  I highly recommend both the album and the brew... but these are definitely not for the faint at heart... both will knock you down and tear out your blackened soul!

Cheers and hails headbangers!!  Keep it craft and keep it HEAVY!
