Hey there rockers, rollers, headbangers, and hopheads!  Happy Friday!  The Meista here today rocking the hell out with a pairing of "Positively Downtown" by Harlot, a local band from here in Utah back in the late '80s / early '90s and a juicy and hoppy Hot Tub Jamboree NE-Style Hazy India Pale Ale from Revision Brewing Company!  Hell yeah!

• Pour: The Hot Tub Jamboree pours a very cloudy golden-yellow with a frothy, bright white, 1-finger head with good retention and lots of sudsy, sticky lacing.
• Nose: The nose is very citrusy, fruity, and floral.  There are aromas of orange juice, mango, tangerine, passion fruit, peach, strawberry jam, herbal tea, wildflowers, and sweet caramel/toffee.
• Taste: Hop-forward, the taste of the Hot Tub Jamboree is citrusy, fruity, bright, and malty.  There are notes of tangerine, passion fruit, strawberry, orange juice, peach, pink grapefruit juice, mango, pineapple, guava, a hint of pine, sweet tea, and sweet caramel/toffee.  
• Mouthfeel: Medium to full-bodied with moderate carbonation, the mouthfeel is very crisp and very juicy, yet creamy and smooth with a dry, slightly bitter finish.

Overall pairing: With the hairspray-fueled, heavy-duty rock and roll of "Positively Downtown", you need a brew that has the same punchy bite, but with refreshing drinkability!  Thus, Revision's Hot Tub Jamboree NE-Style Hazy India Pale Ale!  The bright, citrusy flavor of the brew is a great complimentary beverage to the fun, fast, and rockin' style of Harlot!
