- Taste: The taste of the Rush Golden Ale follows the nose with lots of tasty rye, piney, floral, malty, and citrusy flavors. There are notes of orange pith and peel, lemon zest, black tea, pine, rye bread and bread crust, black and white pepper, and light caramel/toffee.
- Mouthfeel: Light to medium-bodied and well carbonated, the mouthfeel of the Rush Golden Ale is very crisp, refreshing, and smooth with a dry, peppery, and somewhat bitter finish.
