Hello there metal maniacs, hellion, and craft beer freaks!  Your drinkin' buddy the Meista here this evening with a pairing of another amazing album for ya... the highly anticipated, debut, self-titled album by the mighty Lex Legion and a deliciously crisp and refreshing PFamily Pilsner from T.F. Brewing in collaboration with pFriem Family Brewers!  This pairing is dedicated to my good friend Jerm!  Cheers and hails, brother!

• Sound: This album is absolutely and perfectly fantastic!  It may be my favorite release thus far in 2026.  As it was in the King Diamond days, the dual guitar work of Blakk and LaRocque is otherworldly, while the rhythm section of Dee and Patino is a thunderous monster!  And as with his band Pagan's Mind, Rue's vocals absolutely soar!  At times, he channels King, but this is definitely the unique range and approach of Nils!

• Pour: The PFamily Pilsner pours a clear, bright golden yellow with a bright white, frothy, 1+ finger hear with great retention and lost of sticky, sudsy lacing.
• Nose: The nose is grainy, bready, toasty, and grassy.  There are aromas of toasted bread, summer grass, Pilsner malt, and lemon zest.
• Taste: The taste of the PFamily Pilsner follows the nose with lots of grainy, bready, and crisp, hoppy flavors.  There are notes of crackery biscuit, toasted sourdough bread, grassy hops.
• Mouthfeel: Light to medium in body and well-carbonated, the mouthfeel of the PFamily Pilsner is very crisp and with a clean, dry finish.

Overall pairing: How can you go wrong with a pairing of debut Lex Legion album and a crisp, crushable brew on a hot day?  Thus, today's pairing: Lex Legion's excellent debut album and a PFamily Pilsner from T.F. Brewing / pFriem Family Brewers!  It is like a pairing made in hell!  Those bright, crips notes just go so perfectly well with the exceptional musical delivery, while the more abrupt hoppy flavors go great with the fiery attack!  And the beer can label looks nice with the album cover!  'Nuff said!
