- Brewery: Full Sail Brewing Company (Hood River, Oregon)
- Website: http://www.fullsailbrewing.com/
- Brew: Cascade Pilsner
- Style: Pilsner/American Pale Lager
- Serving: 12 ounce bottle
- ABV: 6%
- IBUs: 60
- Ingredients: Pilsner malt, Cascade hops
- Pour: Clear, pale golden-yellow with a 1 1/2 finger bright white head that leaves chunky lacing with good retention.
- Nose: The nose of the Cascade Pilsner is a nice and inviting blend of grassy hops, crackery biscuit malt, and subtle peppery spice.
- Taste: One of the best Full Sail brews in my opinion, the Cascade Pilsner is a very refreshing and drinkable Pils. The very well-balanced malts, hops, and spice characteristics make for a very enjoyable drinking experience. There are notes of summer grass, biscuit, sourdough bread, very subtle hints of pine, orange zest, white pepper, and juicy grapefruit.
- Mouthfeel: Very crisp, very dry, the Cascade Pilsner is moderately carbonated and goes down easy with a very dry and somewhat bitter finish.
Cheers!!
