Good afternoon and happy Friday!  In anticipation and celebration of tonight's upcoming Exodus show here in Utah, I'm pairing a Tropical Torpedo Tropical IPA from Sierra Nevada Brewing Company with the legendary album "Impact Is Imminent"!

• Pour: The Tropical Torpedo Tropical IPA pours a slightly hazy, light golden yellow hue with a billowy and frothy 2-finger bright white head with great sustain and lots of intricate spider web lacing.
• Nose: The nose is very fruity (tropical and citrus), grassy, and sweet.  There are aromas of tangerine, grapefruit, orange, lime, mango, papaya, and passionfruit along with light herbs, and soft caramel.
• Taste: The taste is characterized by big tropical fruit and citrus flavors along with light malt.  There are notes of lush and juicy mango, pineapple, papaya, guava, passionfruit, grapefruit, and tangerine with light herbs, a hint of spice, and a sweet malty backbone.
• Mouthfeel: Light-medium in body with moderate carbonation, the mouthfeel of the Tropical Torpedo is crisp, yet creamy, slightly sticky, and smooth with light hoppy bitterness, and a dry, clean finish.

Overall pairing: The crisp, bright, and very hoppy drinkability of the Tropical Torpedo Tropical IPA from Sierra Nevada Brewing Company is a great brew for a hot early September day and perfect for the fast paced aggression of Exodus' brutal "Impact Is Imminent"!
