Buona sera!  The Meista here tonight pairing a deliciously hoppy Limited Release Beer 4: Secret Haze from 2 Row Brewing and "The Unrevealed Secret", the amazing debut album from Italian metal band Eternal Idol!

• Pour: The Secret Haze pours a cloudy golden-amber with a 2-finger, frothy white head with great retention and sticky, soapy lacing.
• Nose: The nose is a wonderful blend of citrus, tropical fruit, sweet malt, and spicy hops.  There are aromas of fresh cut pineapple, freshly squeezed orange juice, mango, melon, caramel/toffee, and light spices and herbs.
• Taste: The taste of the Secret Haze is citrusy, fruity, sweet, spicy and earthy.  There are notes of pineapple, passionfruit, mango, orange peel, grapefruit rind, herbal tea, light pine, sweet toffee, and black pepper.  The sweet and citrusy flavors really mask the higher ABV well!
• Mouthfeel: Medium to full-bodied with moderate carbonation, the mouthfeel of the Secret Haze is crisp, sharp, with a mildly bitter and peppery finish and an ever so slight hint of booze.

Overall pairing: 2 Row's Limited Release Beer 4: Secret Haze is a wonderfully complex, yet very drinkable brew with a kick!  This seems only fitting for the depth of creative integrity and richly textured brilliance and prowess of Eternal Idol!
