July 13th, 2019 - Voodoo Lucifer Juicifer Incestus ***DO NOT VIEW IF EASILY OFFENDED!!***

Guten abend evil-doers and hop-heads!  Your drinking buddy the Meista here getting a little evil, raising my horns, and banging my head to the infernal "Lucifer Incestus" by Austrian blackened death metal monsters Belphegor and a juicy and delicious Voodoo Ranger Juicifer IPA from New Belgium Brewing Company!  Hells yeah!!  This is another great beer my good buddies Sonia and Jason brought me... PROST and thanks for the brew my friends!!

• Pour: The Voodoo Ranger Juicifer IPA pours a slightly hazy bright orange-gold with a frothy and creamy, bright white head that displays lots of intricate and layered lacing throughout.
• Nose: The nose is fruity, citrusy, juicy, and slightly bready.  There are aromas of pineapple, guava, orange juice, grapefruit, tangerine, mango, and papaya along with more sublte notes of doughy bread, summer wild grass, and very light caramel.
• Taste: The taste, like the nose is characterized by tropical, citrusy, and light malty flavors.  There are notes of fresh pink grapefruit juice, tangerine, orange juice, mango, guava, pineapple, light melon, and hints of very subtle caramel. 
• Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied with moderate carbonation, the Voodoo Ranger Juicifer IPA's mouthfeel is very crisp and very juicy with a dry, slightly bitter, yet clean finish.

Overall pairing: The punchy and aggressive, yet fruity, complex flavors and aromas of New Belgium's great Voodoo Ranger Juicifer IPA is perfect for the power and aggressive energy of Belphegor!  Those big, hoppy citrus notes are great for the straightforward rocking aggression, while the sweeter tropical and malt notes are great for the devlishly fast rhythms!
