    Brew Info:
  • Brewery: Latitude 33 Brewing Company (Vista, California)
  • Website: http://lat33brew.com/
  • Brew: Lost Cities India Pale Ale
  • Style: American India Pale Ale (IPA)
  • Serving: 12 ounce can
  • ABV: 6.3%
  • Pour: The Lost Cities pours a murky caramel apple-gold with a 1+ finger, frothy, egg-shell white head with good sustain and lots of soapy lacing.
  • Nose: The nose is very fruity, citrusy.   There are aromas of tropical fruits (mango, guava, kiwi, pineapple, and papaya), citrus (pink grapefruit rind, tangerine, and lemon zest), and sweet caramel.
  • Taste: The taste of the Lost Cities is fruity, citrusy, and malty.  There are flavors of tangerine, pineapple, pink grapefruit juice, and caramel malt.
  • Mouthfeel: Medium to full-bodied and moderately carbonated, the mouthfeel is very crisp, slightly bitter, and a dry finish.

Overall pairing:  The punchy, fruity, and citrusy notes of the Lost Cities from Latitude 33 Brewing Company is a very crushable and crisp brew that makes for an interesting foil to the crazed technical death metal/metalcore approach of Born Of Osiris on "The Discovery"!

Cheers!!
