Good evening my metal and artisan brew drinking friends!  The Meista here tonight pairing a tart and tasty Berry Salty Raspberry Gose from the fine folks at Talisman Brewing Company and the legendary thrashers Flotsam And Jetsam and their killer 14th studio album, "Blood In The Water"!  Hell yes!

• Pour: The Berry Salty pours a clear pinkish amber with a bright white, frothy, 1-finger head with good retention and sudsy lacing.
• Nose: The nose is tart, fruity, and salty.  There are aromas of freshly picked raspberries, raspberry jam, plum, lemon, hints of salt, and a splash of honey.
• Taste: Like the nose, the taste of the Berry Salty is fruity, tart, and slightly salty.  There are notes of tart raspberries, raspberry jam, cranberry juice, lemon juice, and some lovely saltiness in the finish that balances our the tartness.
• Mouthfeel: Light in body and well carbonated, the mouthfeel is very crisp, tart, and salty with a dry, thirst quenching finish.

Overall pairing: The Talisman Berry Salty Raspberry Gose is a tart, salty, refreshing, and very drinkable brew... great for tossing back on the dog days of summer while rocking out to the metal might that is Flotsam And Jetsam's kick-ass "Blood In The Water"!  'Nuff said!
