  • Website: https://www.tfbrewing.com/
  • Brew: Das Dopple Bock
  • Style: German Style Bock Beer
  • Serving: 16 ounce can
  • ABV: 7.9%
  • Pour: Das Dopple Bock pours a clear, deep copper-amber with a firm, and creamy, half-finger, eggshell white head with good retention and sticky, sudsy lacing.
  • Nose: The nose is malty, toasty, biscuity, slightly herbal, and sweet.  There are aromas of toasted bread, roasted caramel, barley, wildflowers, and sweet toffee.
  • Taste: Following the nose, the taste of the Das Dopple Bock is characterized by rich and malty flavors. There are notes of bready and roasted malts, sweet biscuit, light spices and herbs, and caramel/toffee.
  • Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied and moderately carbonated, the mouthfeel of the Das Dopple Bock is smooth and crisp with a dry, slightly sweet finish with low bitterness.

Overall pairing: The T.F. Brewing Das Dopple Bock is a bready and malty brew... making it a great foil to the blackened brutality and harshness of Watain's killer "The Agony & Ecstasy Of Watain" album!  Where the sweetness makes for that nice foil, the malty backbone and higher ABV are a great companion to the aggressiveness of the guitars, drums and vocals!

HAILS!!  Prost!!  Na zdrowie!!
