Hey there rockers, rollers, and hopheads!  The Meista here today pairing a tasty Kitty Has Claws NE-Style Hazy India Pale Ale from the fine folks at Revision Brewing Company and Whitesnake's "Slip Of The Tongue"!  Hails yeah!!!

• Pour: The Kitty Has Claws pours a very cloudy golden-yellow with a frothy, bright white, 1+ finger head with good retention and lots of sudsy, sticky lacing.
• Nose: The nose is very citrusy, fruity, and floral.  There are aromas of mango, tangerine, passion fruit, pineapple, light pine resin, herbal tea, wildflowers, and soft caramel/toffee.
• Taste: Hop-forward, the taste of the Kitty Has Claws is citrusy, fruity, bright, and malty.  There are notes of tangerine, pink grapefruit juice, mango, pineapple, guava, light pine, sweet tea, sweet caramel, and an ever so slight hint of booze.  
• Mouthfeel: Medium to full-bodied with moderate carbonation, the mouthfeel is very crisp and very juicy, yet smooth with a dry, slightly boozy finish.

Overall pairing: The Revision Kitty Has Claws is a complex, hoppy, bold, and aggressive brew... perfect for the hard-rockin' punch of Whitesnake's amazing "Slip Of The Tongue" album!  Also, when I picked up the beer, it made me think of the song "Kittens Got Claws"... thus the pairing was born.  'Nuff said!
