Guten tag!  Your drinking buddy the Meista here today getting heavy and aggressive with a pairing of the "Back In Blood", the album by the mighty Debauchery and a tasty Blood Orange Wheat from Epic Brewing Company!  Hell yeah!

  • Pour: The Blood Orange Wheat pours a fairly clear, golden orange hue with bright white, frothy, 1-finger head with good retention and lots of sudsy lacing.
  • Nose: The nose is malty, citrusy, and slightly sweet.  There are aromas of freshly sliced blood oranges, orange zest, orange pith, cracked wheat, and soft caramel. 
  • Taste: The taste of the Blood Orange Wheat follows the nose with malty, sweet, and citrusy flavors.  There are notes of blood orange zest and juice, lemon zest, and light toffee.
  • Mouthfeel: Light to medium-bodied and moderately carbonated, the mouthfeel is creamy and smooth with a sweet finish.

Overview: The Epic Brewing Blood Orange Wheat is a very crisp and very crushable brew... perfect for an afternoon of heavy-duty headbanging and fist-pumping to the infernal might of Debauchery's "Back In Blood"!  'Nuff said!
