  • Serving: 22 ounce bottle

  • Ingredients: Cascade and Mt. Hood hops
  • Pour: Somewhat cloudy orange-copper with a 1-finger, rocky, bright white head with good retention and sustained lacing.
  • Nose: The nose is characterized by leafy/floral hops, citrus, and sweet caramel.  There are aromas of black tea leaves, mountain meadow grass and flowers, grapefruit rind, tangerine, lemon, and orange along with toasty malts and sweet toffee.
  • Taste: A very tasty blend of caramel maltiness and piney/citrus hoppiness with a subtle boozy bite.  There are notes of pine, pink grapefruit, lemon grass, black tea, soft caramel, and crackery biscuit.
  • Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation, the Monsoon IPA is very drinkable and smooth with some oily hop resin elements and slight warming booziness.
Overall pairing: The big, sexy depth of the Monsoon India Pale Ale is perfect for the power pop blast of Eagles Of Death Metal goodness!  Oh baby!

Cheers!!
