A dear friend of mine passed away yesterday. He was diagnosed 7 years ago with colon cancer and was given 6-12 months to live. In those 7 years he did everything he could to bring joy to others.
He was a big Social Distortion fan so tonight (as trivial and silly as my pairings are) I'm pairing Social Distortion's "Greatest Hits" with a Sockeye Dagger Falls IPA from Sockeye Brewing Company (Boise, Idaho).
This is for Dov... rest in peace buddy. Thanks for your unconditional friendship. I miss you brother.
