Brew Info:
  • Brewery: Stone Brewing Company (Escondido, California)
  • Website: https://www.stonebrewing.com/
  • Brew: Stone I'm Peach Double IPA
  • Style: Double India Pale Ale (DIPA) / Imperial IPA (IIPA)
  • Serving: 12 ounce can
  • ABV: 8.8%
  • Ingredients: Loral and Mosaic hops with peaches
  • Pour: The Stone I'm Peach pours a hazy golden peach hue with a billowy, 2-finger white head with great retention and lots of intricate, sticky lacing.
  • Nose: The nose is fruity, hoppy, floral, and malty.  There are big aromas of fresh peaches, apricot, grapefruit rind, tangerine along with wild flowers, light pine resin, and sweet caramel.
  • Taste: Well-balanced, the taste of the Stone I'm Peach is very peachy upfront followed by lots of citrus and sweet malt along with more subtle dank and herbal flavors.  There are notes of fresh peaches, apricot, pink grapefruit, orange, toffee, and softer, more subtle notes of pine and black tea.
  • Mouthfeel: Medium to full-bodied and moderately carbonated, the mouthfeel is crisp, yet sticky and thick and boozy with a mildly bitter and sweet finish that lingers.
Overall pairing: The Stone I'm Peach Double IPA is a fruity, yet complex and deliciously bold DIPA, which I think works really well with the rock and roll mastery, flamboyance, and panache of the ultimate showman and original rock and roll king, Little Richard!

Cheers!!
