- Pour: The Seven Doors pours a hazy golden-yellow with a big, billowy and rocky white head with great sustain and inctricate lacing.
- Nose: The nose is earthy, woody, fruity, floral, herbal, and a little funky. There are big aromas of Belgian yeast, lemon zest, orange peel, horse blanket, leather, barnyard funk, fresh herbs, light crackery gain, and light clove.
- Taste: The taste of the Seven Doors is yeasty, tart, earthy, herbal, floral, grainy and funky. There are notes of Belgian yeast, lemon zest, noble hops, minerals, tart wheat, garden herbs, and light spices (clove, nutmeg, and Allspice).
- Mouthfeel: Light medium in body and well-carbonated, the Seven Doors' mouthfeel is very crisp, tart, and bitter with a dry, clean finish.
Overall pairing: The Seven Doors Grisette-Style Ale is a great, sessionable, yet very complex and punchy brew... perfect to pair with the depth and musical prowess of Jag Panzer and their wonderful demo album "Shadow Thief"!
