Hello and happy Friday!  The Meista here starting the weekend off right with a pairing of Blind Guardian's fantastic "Imaginations From The Other Side" and The WITness from Fisher Brewing Company!  Hell yeah!

  • Pour: The WITness pours a hazy, bright yellow hue with huge, 1-finger, white, frothy head with great retention and lots of soapy lacing.
  • Nose: The nose is filled with lots of fruit ester, spices, grainy, and floral notes.  There are aromas of banana, cloves, lemon, cracked wheat, wild flowers, and light honey.
  • Taste: The taste of The WITness follows the nose with lots of floral, fruity, spicy, and wheat flavors.  There are notes of lemon juice, banana, cloves, cracked wheat, .
  • Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied with moderate carbonation, the mouthfeel of The WITness is very crisp, spicy, and slightly tart with a dry, clean finish.
Overall pairing: The WITness is wonderfully tasty and complex spicy little brew... perfect for the progressive heavy metal might of Blind Guardian's brilliant "Imaginations From The Other Side"!  'Nuff said!
