  • Brew: Tropic Of Thunder Lager
  • Style: American Lager
  • Serving: 16 ounce can
  • ABV: 5.8%
  • Ingredients: Cashmere, Citra, and Mosaic hops
  • Pour: The Tropic Of  Thunder pours a clear straw-yellow with a billowy bright white head with great retention and lots of sticky, intricate lacing.
  • Nose: The nose is fruity, tropical, citrusy, grassy, and grainy.  There are aromas of melon, grapefruit rind, tangerine, lime, mango, pineapple, white wine, and crackery biscuit.
  • Taste: The taste of the Tropic Of Cancer Lager follows the nose with lots of tropical fruit, citrus, and crisp malt flavors.  There are notes of pink grapefruit, pineapple, cantalopue, honeydew melon, passion fruit, mango, white wine, white pepper, and crackery biscuit.
  • Mouthfeel: Light to medium in body and well-carbonated, the mouthfeel is very crisp, punchy, and a little spicy with a dry, clean finish.

Overall pairing: The Tropic Of Thunder Lager is a hop-forward and puncy brew that is totally crushable... perfect for the metal onslaught that is Exciter's kickass "Long Live The Loud"!  I can't think of anything better than a crisp and citrusy brew (or 3) to throw back whilst pumping your fist and banging your head to these bad asses!  'Nuff said!

Cheers and hails!!
