  • Brew: Bürgerliches Brauhaus Altbairisch Hell
  • Style: German Helles / Lager
  • Serving: 16 ounce can
  • ABV: 4.9%
  • Pour: The Altbairisch Hell pours a clear, golden-yellow hue with a frothy and firm, bright white 2+ finger head with great retention and lots of sticky, intricate, spider web lacing throughout.
  • Nose: The nose is hoppy, sweet, grainy, floral, and slightly fruity.  There are aromas of bready malts, cereal grains, light caramel, floral hops, light apple, light lemon zest, and a hint of corn.
  • Taste: The taste of the Altbairisch Hell is very similar on the palette as the aromas.  There are notes of cereal grains, bready yeast, fresh bread, light apple, grapeseed, mild citrus, sweet caramel, honey, light cooked corn, and spicy and floral hops in the finish.
  • Mouthfeel: Light to medium-bodied with bubbly carbonation, the mouthfeel of the is very crisp, yet very smooth with a dry, clean finish.

Overall pairing: The very crushable, drinkable, and crisp malt flavors of the Bürgerliches Brauhaus Altbairisch Hell are perfect for the straightforward, in-your-face, heavy duty rockin' roll of Warlock's kickass "Triumph And Agony" Those lightly hoppy and fruity flavors pair well with Doro's powerful vocals while the bready malts are great for the rockin' backbone of the band!

Prost!!  Rock on!!
