Guten abend and hails! The Meista here tonight rocking out to "Blind Rages," the killer l4th album from German metal monsters Accept and a tasty Matador Pale Ale from my friends at Fisher Brewing Company!!
Album Info:
- Artist: Accept
- Title: "Blind Rage"
- Recorded: 2014
- Release date: August 19th, 2014 (14th studio album by Accept)
- Record company: Nuclear Blast
- Production: Andy Sneap
- Album cover art: Dan Goldsworthy
- Personnel: Peter Baltes (bass guitar), Herman Frank (guitars), Wolf Hoffmann (guitars), Mark Tornillo (vocals), and Stefan Schwarzmann (drums)
- Musical style: Heavy metal, hard rock
- Sound: Sometimes referred to as "working man's metal", the sound of Accept's latest album is hard-hitting, aggressive, and catchy! As tight and heavy as ever, the boys in the band have nailed it once again with another metal juggernaut! "Blind Rage" has that classic Accept sound, but is fresh, relevant, and most importantly, it rocks! Mark Tornillo's raspy broken glass and gravel vocals are the perfect foil for the rich and soaring guitar work of Wolf Hoffmann and Herman Frank! Meanwhile, Peter Baltes (bass) and Stefan Schwarzmann (drums) round out the sound with a thunderous and driving rhythmic onslaught! This album (like everything Accept does) packs a heavy punch, but with a whole lotta soul and heart!
- Major themes: Violence, war, chaos, destruction, mindlessness, finality, power, perseverance, death, etc.
- Tracks:
- "Stampede"
- "Dying Breed"
- "Dark Side Of My Heart"
- "Fall Of The Empire"
- "Trail Of Tears"
- "Wanna Be Free"
- "200 Years"
