  • Website: https://www.cervezasuperiorusa.com/
  • Brew: Superior Cerveza Beer
  • Style: Mexican Lager
  • Serving: 12 ounce can
  • ABV: 4.6%
  • Pour: The Superior pours a clear, bright golden-yellow hue with a frothy, 2+ finger, bright white head with great retention and lots of soapy lacing.
  • Nose: The nose is characterized by very mellow malty, hoppy, and slightly sweet aromas.  There are light notes of corn, grassy hops, and honey.
  • Taste: The taste of the Superior is malty, slightly hoppy, and slightly sweet.  There are notes of corn, grassy hops, crackery biscuit, minerals, a hint of apple, and very light caramel/toffee with very light bitterness.
  • Mouthfeel: Light-bodied with good carbonation, the mouthfeel of the Superior is very crisp, yet very smooth with a very refreshing and clean finish.

Overall pairing: The very drinkable and crushable brew... a great foil to the brutal intensity of Eallic's killer "Karens" EP!  The hoppy elements work great with fiery guitars, intricate melodies, and aggressive vocals, while the malty backbone is great for thunderous rhythms!

Cheers!!  Hails!!
